    I think the various thing you mention as negatives are spot on.  I would only add a bad acoustic problem I experience when I'm driving (all listened are hearing a whoosh sound and no my windows are not open).  But the biggest pain for me is EDGE.  When my iPhone roams onto local wi-fi these device is smooth as silk with the network, the EDGE speed is worse than I thought (but as you say, will do in a pinch).  All in all, the iphone is the best cellular phone I have owned or used.&lt;br /&gt;
